Non-operative Vehicle Policy

A vehicle will be considered non-operative if it is physically incapable of operating because of flat tires, mechanical breakdown of the engine or drive train, or has significant body damage.

All vehicles parked on the streets of Stelle or in common view must have a current State license plate or will be considered non-operative.

Any non-operative vehicle that is being stored must be in an enclosed building and any vehicle that has not been moved in 30 days will be included in this category.

In special circumstances, a resident may apply for a 30-day temporary permit to do repairs on one non-operative vehicle if said vehicle is in common view.
