DIRECTIONS FROM STELLE

Traveling North on I-57 to Chicago/Kankakee

Turn right at the end of the Stelle entrance. Travel east 3 miles to the first stop sign. Turn left (north) at the stop sign and travel 3 miles. This intersection will be the Cabery-Chebanse road. There will be some large white tanks on the right at this intersection but no stop sign. Turn right at this intersection and travel approximately 10 miles to Chebanse. In Chebanse, turn right after crossing the railroad tracks, then left at the next intersection. This will take you to the I-57 interchange.

Traveling South on I-57 to Champaign

Turn right at the end of the Stelle entrance. Travel east 3 miles to the first stop sign. Turn right (south) at the stop sign and travel 5 miles to the second stop sign which will be highway 116. Turn left (east) and you will reach the I-57 interchange at Ashkum in about 6 miles.

Traveling North on I-55 to Chicago/Joliet

Turn left at the end of the Stelle entrance. Travel west one mile to the stop sign. Turn right (north) and travel for 11 miles until you reach Illinois Route 17 at which the road will end in a 'T'. During this 11 miles you will pass through 2 stop signs and the small town of Buckingham. Turn left (west) on Route 17 and travel for ~1/3 of a mile. Turn right at the next intersection at the sign to Essex. Travel Essex road for ~10 miles until it ends in a 'T' at Illinois highway 113. You will travel through the small town of Essex (be careful of the speed limit).  Turn left onto Route 113 and this will take you into Braidwood. Turn right after you cross the railroad tracks in Braidwood onto Illinois Route 129 and follow it ~ 3 miles to the I-55 interchange. Route 129 ends by emptying onto I-55.

Traveling South on I-55 to Bloomington/Springfield

Turn left at the end of the Stelle entrance. Travel west one mile to the stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign and travel south for 5 miles until you reach Illinois Route 116 at the second stop sign. Turn right (west) onto Route 116 and follow it all the way through Pontiac (~25 miles) to the interchange with I-55 on the west side of Pontiac.

Traveling North to I-39/Morris/Dwight area

Turn left (west) at the end of the Stelle entrance. Travel for 3 miles to Illinois Route 115 (second stop sign). Turn right (north) on Route 115 and follow it until it dead ends at Illinois Route 17 (~11 miles). You will pass through the small town of Cabery, followed 4 miles later by a stop sign. Continue past this stop sign and you will reach Route 17 four miles later. Turn left (west) on Route 17 and follow it to Dwight. The intersection with Illinois Route 47 to Morris is on the east side of Dwight just when you enter the town of Dwight.
