(Date to be determined) The Kankakee Area StarGazers will set up their telescopes for a public viewing of the sky in Stelle.

Prior to the viewing there will be a lecture covering numerous aspects of astronomy.

This event is open to the public and is definitely worth the trip. Considering the land lies low here in Northern Ford County, Stelle has some of the best night sky around.

Be prepared for the amazing visual spectacle that the equipment our star gazing friends bring with them.

Sky watching begins at dusk.
